Ramsey Dallal, MD, FACS
Ramsey Dallal, MD, is a leading bariatric surgeon at Einstein Healthcare Network. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed both his residency and fellowship in general surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Currently practicing at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, he has over 20 years of experience. Dr. Dallal has been ranked among Philadelphia magazine’s Top Docs list for surgeons. For prospective and current patients, Dr. Dallal’s goal is to make everyone feel supported at every point of their weight loss journey. He is a thorough listener and will answer any questions you have connected to bariatric surgery.
Alfred Trang, MD, FACS
Alfred Trang, MD, is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon at Einstein Healthcare Network. After receiving his medical degree from Temple University, he completed his residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital and his fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. During his residency, Dr. Trang trained under Thomas E. Read, MD. Dr. Trang credits Dr. Read for showing him that a surgeon is only as strong as the staff around him and that is why Dr. Trang’s team is so strong. Dr. Trang would like all his patients to have an encouraging experience on their weight-loss journey. He provides a thorough overview of the bariatric program and will help you make an informed decision on a life changing surgery. When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Trang enjoys time watching movies with his family. Dr. Trang would like to thank his parents for instilling in him a strong work ethic at a young age. Dr. Trang practices at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
Matthew O. Hubbard, MD, MS, FACS
Matthew O. Hubbard, MD, MS, FACS, is an experienced fellowship-trained minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgeon. Prior to coming to Einstein, Dr. Hubbard worked at Yale University School of Medicine where he honed techniques in advanced hernia surgery as well as managing a successful weight loss surgery practice, offering comprehensive care to those suffering from obesity. Dr. Hubbard is also credentialed to perform highly skilled robotic surgery. Dr. Hubbard obtained a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame, and his medical degree from the University of Rochester. Dr. Hubbard completed a residency in general surgery at Case Western Reserve University and a bariatric and minimally-invasive surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Hubbard previously worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital in Connecticut. He is board-certified in general surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, he has authored book chapters, he serves on the editorial boards of several surgery journals, and he serves on national committees with SAGES and ASMBS. Dr. Hubbard’s research interests include obesity and surgical weight loss, hernia and surgical outcomes.
